Madala the Cheetah suffered a broken leg after being chased off by an eland bull at Garden Route Game Lodge. Mossel Bay’s DR LD Griesel (an orthopaedic surgeon who usually operates only on humans) volunteered his services – and in a 6-hour-long operation, stitched a plate into Madala’s leg. So – will this magnificent cat be able to hunt again?
