Hi there,
briefly browsed through your newsletter. Nice stuff. I just wanted to add a few titles to the list of books that I find of interest. Being based in the eatern cape there might be a bias towards this superb nature destination
1. Field Guide to the Eastern and Southern Cape Coasts. Roy (Prof.)Lubke and Irene De Moor. UCT press.
2. Two Oceans. Guide to the Marine life of Southern Africa. Branch and Branch, Griffiths and Beckley. Pub. David Philip. C.T. and JHB.
3. Medicinal plants of south Africa Ben-Erik van Wyk et al. Pub. Briza

All the best

Your newsletter on Beks was a revelation! What a message of hope and confidence for the future in a difficult situation. His views of difficulties as a challenge, as well as his concept of involving the local population, are both opinions that we should all take note of.

Thank you for your constant reminder thatIoftenrealise that Iam stil in the Tourism Business even if the business is down.

It is encouraging to learn about your correspondence with Beks and the determination he has in this business under the circumstances, I have decided never to complain again .
I like it when he said his guests are saying the experience is not complete if you did not meet the Community members. It reminded me of my markerting slogan for foreign visitors which goes like this : You have not seen SA if you have not spend a night at Flossies in SOWETO !
