1960s Movie marketed the Garden Route

In the early 1960s, William Smith made a movie about visiting the Garden Route starting Carol Malan and Pieter Snyman as young lovers on holiday. This vid includes interviews with them shortly before they viewed it in December 2010 (for the first time in 50 years … and in Carol’s case, for the first time – ever!).

Great! Makes me want to see the whole movie. Well done on finding it and resurrecting it! Glad the two actors have opposing views on whether the GR has been ruined or not.
